The late Mika Vainio is honoured by this gorgeous book. The 260-page M.T.V. 15.05.63 – 12.04.2017 contains photographs from both the Vainio family archive and from the reels of his friends. Other visual tributes are included, as are write-ups from people who were close to Vainio in his life. His 2013 ‘Invisible Jukebox’ interview with The Wire’s Jennifer Lucy Allen, ephemera from his early days with Pan Sonic and an exhaustive discography also appear. The cherry on top is the CD of previously-unreleased Pan Sonic music entitled Turku Moai - Live On Rapa Nui.
