The murderer’s row of experimental players that is Oren Ambarchi, Johan Berthling, and Andreas Weliin are back on Drag City yet again for the third instalment of their fruitfully collaborative Ghosted series. Replicating the free-wheeling nature of the first two Ghosted entries, much of the material here was culled from in-studio jams, though some of it certainly informed by the heady, improv-heavy gigs the trio of Ambarchi, Berthling & Weliin has embarked upon in the Ghosted wake. Recorded in a marathon (by their standards at least) 3 day period, Ghosted III is indeed a little wilder than its predecessors, embracing space like never before.
