Ninja Tune brings a unique classic from their vault back to wax for its 25th anniversary with this reissue of Kid Koala’s 2000 LP Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Kid Koala got his start as a scratch DJ in the mid 90s, winning contests and gathering a devoted fanbase. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome sees him utilising those turntable skills alongside analogue synths and drum machines to craft a sonic world uniquely his own by bridging the gap between found sound, sampling, scratching, and original electronic machinery. Kid Koala would go on to film scoring, live performances, and even pop production, but Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is the foundation on which he built the legend.
