quadratschulz delivers a smörgåsbord of throwback electronic club takes on the Dynamic Linker EP, the producer’s debut drop on Clone Dub. While everything here fits together by dint of uniform synthetic tones, stylistically the productions are rather varied. The basic aesthetic is derived from the braindance of classic Rephlex releases, but we also hear quadratschulz touch on nasty acid techno in the Bunker vein, scuzzy electro and tender IDM across Dynamic Linker’s seven tracks.
