Adrian Sherwood is an artist. Whether it’s on his own thrillingly unique solo records; as a band member of groups such as Tackhead and London Underground; or as the creative force behind the long-running and highly collectable On-U Sound label.

As founder and sole producer of the legendary On-U Sound label he has brought the attention of artists like African Head Charge, New Age Steppers, Dub Syndicate, Creation Rebel and Tackhead to the fore, and produced or remixed everyone from The Slits to Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode to The Fall, Blur to Einstürzende Neubauten. In addition to recent work with indie artists like Spoon, who hand-picked Sherwood to make a dub companion release to their last studio album, he has been enjoying a late career renaissance with his productions on his own On-U label - Rainford by Lee “Scratch” Perry hit number 1 on the Billboard Reggae chart, whilst Midnight Rocker by Horace Andy was crowned The Guardian’s #1 Global album of the year.
