Jackpot Recordings reissue the 60s electronic legends Silver Apples and their second album ‘Contact’ from 1969 originally released by Kapp Records. Featuring the infamous cover art which led to a lawsuit from Pan Am Airlines and the subsequent break-up of the band, ‘Contact’ was the follow up to Silver Apples’ ground-breaking self-titled debut. The band shattered minds with their progressive approach to DIY electronics, blurring its boundaries by incorporating pulsating beats and discordant modality into their extensive rock idiom.
