Los Angeles experimental trio Total Blue make their official debut on the Music From Memory label with a self-titled LP. While the three musicians that make up Total Blue have collaborated together on prior projects for well over a decade, Total Blue marks their first single-minded artist statement as a unit. Traversing jazz, ambient, and dream-pop textures across its runtime, the group utilises a mixture of digital and analog synths, fretless bass and electric guitars to evoke scenes that recall the stark colours of the sky and the serene wash of the sea in equal measure.
