Berlin-based experimental group the Moses Yoofee Trio return to Nils Frahm's LEITER label for their debut full length LP entitled MYT. The Moses Yoofee Trio has achieved quite a bit of buzz in the time since their opening salvo last year on LEITER, including a 2024 nod for Germany’s best live jazz act among other accolades. MYT then is the group’s first move after stepping into the limelight, and it’s as strong a statement as they’ve made yet. Folding in hip-hop, R&B, soul, and even house into their studied practice, the trio has expanded their musical language while sharing the stage with guests like the London rapper ENNY and Berlin singer EVÎN without losing sight of the target.
