Omid Geoadizadeh makes his solo debut on the unstoppable Wah Wah Wino imprint with a new EP entitled Like The Sea Knows Blue (مثل دریا که آبی را می شناسد). Geadizadeh goes downtempo here, favouring luxurious grooves and tightly wound drum machine patter, leaving plenty of space for girder thick dub basslines and the whirling sound of the Iranian santur (or hammered dulcimer if you will). Wah Wah Wino co-founder Morgan Buckley runs it all through a raved up jungle filter on the B side’s remix as well.
