Pete Fowler and Jon Tye present their fourth studio album under their Seahawks guise, a no-holds barred full on embracement of everything that’s good about dollar bin new age and cosmic, Berlin school ambient. White noise, ocean sounds, electric piano and saxophone tones all fuse together to carefully straddle the line between Balearic and ball-ache. Luckily they get it right and rather than come off as a painful pastiche, Escape Hatch fits nicely into the revival of this sound that labels like Aficionado have been pushing over the past few years.
