The 3 Chairs - Theo Parrish, Kenny Dixon Jr, Rick Wilhite and Marcellus Pittman - return with a 2025 repress of four essential tracks of Detroit magic. In true demigod fashion they swing with ease from malfunctioning flecks of acid and gritty minimalist shuffling on the title-track, to deep and dubby, meandering piano keys on ‘6 Mile’, and trembling, decaying glamour on ‘Celestial Contact’. A winner.
